For small dogs, small breed puppies and large breed puppies no more than 4 months of age. If no available class, you can take Beginner Obedience.
This is an Adult training cass and is for students 16 years or older!

In this class you can expect to learn how to teach your dog to walk on a loose leash, heel on leash, return to you when called, sit and lay down on command as well as stay in the sit and down positions.
Terms:
HEELING: to walk beside the handler without pulling or tugging at the leash and to move at whatever speed you are going.
SIT AND DOWN STAY: to stay in this position at the end of a 6 foot leash for at least 1 minute.
SIT FOR EXAM: to sit still while someone runs their hand down the dog's back.
COME: to come to the handler when called.
